Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
